PENGARUH KINERJA OPERATOR DAN CONTAINER CRANE TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS BONGKAR MUAT DI PT. TERMINAL PETIKEMAS SURABAYA

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya arus peti kemas di PT. Terminal Petikemas Surabaya yang menuntut efisiensi proses bongkar muat sebagai bagian dari peningkatan produktivitas pelabuhan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh kinerja operator dan container crane, baik secara parsial maupun simultan terhadap produktivitas bongkar muat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh melalui kuesioner terhadap 64 operator. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan, kinerja operator dan container crane berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas bongkar muat. Namun secara parsial, hanya container crane yang berpengaruh signifikan, sedangkan kinerja operator tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa optimalisasi peralatan memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan efisiensi operasional pelabuhan.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the increasing flow of containers in PT. Surabaya Container Terminal which demands the efficiency of the loading and unloading process as part of increasing port productivity. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of operator and container crane performance, either partially or simultaneously on loading and unloading productivity. This study uses a quantitative approach. Data were obtained through questionnaires to 64 operators. The results showed that simultaneously, the performance of the operator and container crane significantly affect the productivity of loading and unloading. But partially, only container cranes have a significant effect, while the performance of operators does not show a significant effect. These findings indicate that equipment optimization plays an important role in improving port operational efficiency.
